Transparent pricing: you only pay when SOL is actually returned to your wallet.
Current protocol fee
The protocol fee is 15% of the rent returned by the accounts you close. It is paid in the same transaction as a single SOL transfer, visible in your wallet preview.
Worked example
Closing 100 standard empty accounts returns about 0.1488 SOL. With a 15% fee, about 0.0223 SOL goes to the protocol and about 0.1265 SOL stays in your wallet, minus a tiny network fee.
Network fees
Solana charges a base fee of 0.000005 SOL per signature plus a small priority fee to help transactions land quickly. These go to the network, not to RecycleTokens.
