Short definitions of the terms you will see when cleaning up token accounts on Solana.
Lamport
The smallest unit of SOL. One SOL equals 1,000,000,000 lamports.
Rent-exempt minimum
The balance an account must hold to stay on-chain. It depends on account size and is returned when the account is closed.
Token mint
The account that defines a token: its supply, decimals and authorities.
Token account and ATA
A token account holds a balance of one mint for one owner. The associated token account (ATA) is the default token account address derived from your wallet and the mint.
Close authority
The address allowed to close a token account. By default this is the owner.
Freeze authority
An optional authority on a mint that can freeze holder accounts, which blocks transfers, burns and closing.
